About this event
Ed Scanlon, Associate Professor at University of Kansas, has pulled together a terrific panel that will include a public policy leader, community gardening program director, and director of the local Coalition to End Homelessness. KU Dean Michelle Mohr Carney has graciously offered support for transportation from the convention center to the community center and light refreshments. This will be an empowering and invigorating start to our time in Kansas City.
We are asking for a $20 fee to offset event expenses. After expenses, any remaining funds will be donated to the groups represented at this event. An invoice will be emailed to participants separately via PayPal.
If you are experiencing economic hardship, please contact Cheryl Hyde via email at:
chair@acosa.org
PLEASE NOTE: The bus will load at 1pm at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown (200 W. 12th St), which is across from the convention center.
